Elsie Kaye Artisan Gifts & Flamework Studio

Elsie Kaye Gift Shop &amp; Artisan Studio In 2009, on a whim, Holly Kenny took a flameworking class and learned to make glass beads. This sparked a love of glass art and led to the launch her business, Elsie Kaye Gift Shop and Art Studio in downtown Westborough. Holly currently teaches flameworking and metalworking at her studio and is on the faculty at the New England Craft Program in Williamsburg, MA. Holly loves the fluidity and movement of glass and enjoys incorporating metals, enamels and other elements that can change the texture and appearance of the glass. As a result, much of her work takes on an abstract, organic feel. Her work, under the name Elsie Kaye Glassworks, can be found at more than 50 boutiques and galleries across the country. Holly is passionate about promoting emerging local artists by selling their work at her retail shop, as well as helping to foster connections with new and existing businesses in the local area. She is an active member of her community, where she has lived with her husband and two children since 2006.

Building permits delayed the November 12th opening of the Northborough UMass Memorial-affiliated CareWell Urgent Care center, located 333 Southwest Cutoff. The center is now scheduled to open on Monday, November, 16th. In the meantime, free flu shots will be available at the UMass Memorial-affiliated CareWell center at 500 Lincoln St located in Worcester. The Northborough center will offer free flu shots from November 16th until November 30th to anyone 18 years or older on a first come, first serve basis during regular business hours. Our sincere apologies for any inconvenience.
