Woman Arrested for Alleged Gift Card Fraud at Wegman's
The store became suspicious when the woman used numerous cards with various amounts of money.

A woman was arrested and charged with credit card forgery after she is suspected of using numerous gift cards at Wegman’s in Northborough.
Beatrice M. Douglas, 24, 35 Peters Ave., Hemp, was arrested and charged with credit card fraud over $250, Forge or utter forged credit card (2 counts), possession of 4 or more counterfeit cards and receiving with an improper credit card over $250.
Police say Wegman’s employees became suspicious of the gift card purchases due to the number of them, and the amount, which Douglas used on Feb. 27 at the store. Officers responded and determined that the credit cards used were fraudulent.
