Elsie Kaye Gift Shop &amp; Artisan Studio In 2009, on a whim, Holly Kenny took a flameworking class and learned to make glass beads. This sparked a love of glass art and led to the launch her business, Elsie Kaye Gift Shop and Art Studio in downtown Westborough. Holly currently teaches flameworking and metalworking at her studio and is on the faculty at the New England Craft Program in Williamsburg, MA. Holly loves the fluidity and movement of glass and enjoys incorporating metals, enamels and other elements that can change the texture and appearance of the glass. As a result, much of her work takes on an abstract, organic feel. Her work, under the name Elsie Kaye Glassworks, can be found at more than 50 boutiques and galleries across the country. Holly is passionate about promoting emerging local artists by selling their work at her retail shop, as well as helping to foster connections with new and existing businesses in the local area. She is an active member of her community, where she has lived with her husband and two children since 2006.

Worcester business, Insurance Marketing Agencies (IMA), has recently promoted two of their employees. Tracy Saraceni has been promoted from Senior Marketing Executive to Marketing and Commercial Lines Manager. In her new role, she will manage both the Commercial Lines and Marketing Teams. According to IMA's president, Peter Herman, "Tracy has worked with tremendous dedication and professionalism" in the couple of years that she has been with the company. In her new position, he anticipates her input to be multifold. Maryann Johansen, who has been with IMA for almost 24 years, will now be IMA's Commercial Lines Team Leader. In this new role, Maryann will work closely with Tracy and the entire team by taking on new oversight responsibilities and improving IMA's operating efficiencies and processes. "In recognition of her dedication and contribution we are happy to announce this well-deserved promotion," said Herman. IMA is excited for the promotions of these two very deserving employees, and is looking forward to seeing how they will prosper in these new positions.
