• Obituary: Catherine (Gonzalo) McDonald, 97 (thereadingpost.com) — North Reading is mourning Catherine G. (Gonzalo) McDonald, a 50-year town resident who passed away Monday at age 97. She worked locally as a cashier at the Brooks/Rite Aid Drug Store, belonged to the North Reading Historical Society and St. Theresa's Church, and cherished simple pleasures like music, scratch tickets, and porch sitting. Her services will be private, handled by Croswell Funeral Home in North Reading.
