Andrew Schultz is New Chamber President for 2016

Schultz takes over the reins from Lisa DeLeo.

NORTH READING, MA - Andrew Schultz of North Reading has taken over the reins from Lisa DeLeo as the 2016 president of the Reading-North Chamber of Commerce.

“I am honored to be at the helm,” said Schultz. “I hope to continue to work toward the Chamber’s mission, be a liaison between businesses and the communities and help foster commercial development and growth in Reading and North Reading. We support open communication with our local politicians and businesses so local government and business decisions result in an improved economy and the quality of life in each town.”

Recently established at the start of Andrew’s term was the creation of selectmen liaisons, who currently are John Halsey from Reading and Michael Prisco from North Reading. Andrew is dedicated to a partnership between the businesses, the public officials and the residents. Having joined the Chamber board in 2014, he jumped in feet first to sit on several Chamber committees, including the By-Law Committee, Golf Tournament Committee and the Executive Committee. He is currently in the midst of planning a casino night at the Moose Club in North Reading on April 8th.
