North Reading Youth Services, in partnership with The Music Place, hosted its 9th annual Battle of the Bands last Friday. Bands included local performers including North of Normal, No Shenanigans, Welcome Mat, The Suit & Tie Fallacy and Red Guard.
Congratulations to North of Normal (photo) for taking 1st Place Judges' Choice and Peoples' Choice awards and to Welcome Mat who won Judges' 2nd Place.
Youth Services would like to thank volunteers Rita Mullen, Sue Luckiewicz, North Reading Rotary President-Elect Mike Scannell, and Friends of Hornet Productions, A special thanks also to our volunteer judges: Brian Lee, Chris Rival, Carissa Johnson, and Keith Dennehy.
