BnR's Rock n' Rescue Holds Fundraiser Saturday

Goal is to bring homeless dogs from the South, Puerto Rico and locally, and train them in a positive and humane way.

Francine Coughlin created BnR’s Rock n’ Rescue in North Reading to bring homeless dogs from the South, Puerto Rico and locally, and train them in a positive and humane way in order to make them more adoptable, thus finding them forever homes. Now she's holding her first fundraiser.

The kickoff fundraiser will be held on Sat., Nov. 11 from 8 pm until close at the new Dos Lobos Restaurant at 303 Main Street, North Reading (formerly the Great American Tavern). The event will feature live music and will have a buffet and cash bar. In a timely tribute to rock legend Tom Petty, the Tom Petty cover band Wicked Petty will perform, in addition to 60’s rock cover band The Redeemers.

BnR’s Rock n’ Rescue also offers a program for veterans and active military called Vets ROCK! Veterans receive large discounts as well as pro bono commitments for the adoption, training and canine care services needed to ensure canine companionship for those who have sacrificed so much. All active and retired military will be admitted free of charge with military ID in honor of the event falling on Veterans Day.
