The famous Comfort Dogs of Lutheran Church Charities have been all over the news after their work at Sandy Hook Elementary school and now in their visits to Boston hospitals to bring a little joy and peace to hurting families.  A Comfort Dog and its handler will be visiting Messiah Lutheran Church this Sunday morning at 708 Lowell St. in Lynnfield.  The highly trained Golden Retriever will spend time visiting with people during Sunday Education Hour from 9-10, will attend worship at 10:30, and be around for a meet and greet after the service. The 2026 Artisan Market will be held on Sunday, May 31st from 10-3 and is a rain or shine event. The Market will be held in the parking lot behind the West Mill at 50 High St. Ample parking is available directly across the street in the East Mill parking garage. Admission to the market and parking are both FREE. Leashed, well-behaved dogs are welcome!Plenty of food and fun activities for families!

The Temple Emanuel Sisterhood invites the community to Mah Jongg Madness, an afternoon of friendly competition, connection, and fun for Mah Jongg players of all experience levels. 
Open to the public, this community event will feature Mah Jongg play, prizes, table rotations, and opportunities to socialize with friends—both old and new. To encourage engagement and friendly competition, players of varying skill levels will be mixed and tables will rotate throughout the afternoon. Instructions on rules, scoring, and movement will be provided at check-in, along with a brief overview before play begins. Light refreshments will be served.COST:
