The 2013 North Reading Little League season began Tuesday night with a Farm League contest at Ipswich River Park. The Brewers and the Pirates squared off and played to — you guessed it — a tie before an enthusiastic group of parents, siblings, passers-by, and even a few canines. Farm League action continues on Thursday evening with a game between the A's and the Royals at IRP, and the Majors season begins this Saturday, April 13, at Benevento Memorial Fields.
