The best-selling author and newspaper columnist will be at Jordan's Furniture IMAX Theater on Wednesday.

Submitted by the Reading-North Reading Chamber of Commerce:

Reading-North Reading Chamber of Commerce is pleased to present Howie Carr at Jordan’s Furniture IMAX Theater. Carr will speak about Boston Crime and his latest book, Ratman: The Trial and Conviction of Whitey Bulger.

In this book, New York Times best-selling author Howie Carr chronicles the trial of the notorious mob boss who was charged with nineteen murders. With a $2 million reward on his head, James “Whitey” Bulger had been the most-wanted fugitive in America for sixteen years when he was captured by the FBI in June 2011. Carr will tell you stories about the testimony from his seat inside the courtroom where TV cameras were not allowed.
