Cobras U11 undefeated for 3rd straight season

The North Reading 11 Year-Old “Cobras” completed their 3rd straight undefeated season with a perfect 8-0 Spring Season, outscoring their opponents 37-5. In winning the division, they made it to the playoffs at Pingree School in Hamilton. The Cobras beat North Andover 2-1 in the quarter-finals. In the semi-finals, they played another North Reading team (Vipers) to a tie through OT. Cobras won on penalty kicks in an exciting game with many North Reading fans in attendance. In the thrilling championship game, the Cobras finally fell to Boxford in overtime. Although all 3 playoff games were against 12 year-old teams, the Cobras made it to the final minutes of the season with an electrifying playoff run.
