Community Impact Team is Accepting Nominations for 2022 Trusted Adult
The award seeks to recognize adults who positively impact NR youth

The North Reading Community Impact Team’s Youth Substance Use Prevention Coalition and Youth Action Team is now accepting nominations for the 2022 Trusted Adult Award. Drug-Free Communities Grant Director Amy Luckiewicz explained, “Adults have a huge impact on youth substance use prevention in so many ways.” She continued, “Sometimes that impact isn’t intended to prevent substance use, but rather support individual students. Adults should be encouraged to be open and available to the town’s youth and know that they can really make a difference by listening and engaging with young people. This award is meant to recognize those individuals who kids see as a go-to person in their lives.”
Any individual living or working of the Town of North Reading, of adult age, is eligible to be nominated. Organizations may not be nominated. Youth of any age through high school may nominate an adult by completing the 2022 Trusted Adult Award Nomination Form or online form and submit it to the Community Impact Team by June 3, 2022. Up to 3 winners will be selected based on the nominations. Winners will be selected by students in the Youth Action Team and Substance Use Prevention Coalition and will be presented with a 2022 Star Award.
