Community Impact Team Sponsors North Reading Night Off Next Week
Take the night off and relax!

The Community Impact Team (CIT) is sponsoring its inaugural “North Reading Night Off” on Tuesday, March 15, 2016. North Reading Night Off (NRNO) is an evening without any scheduled meetings, activities, homework, etc. from 5:00p.m. for both adults and youth. This initiative is in response to feedback from North Reading families that stress and the need to balance family life is a widespread concern. While we can’t change our culture with one night, we can help provide a few hours during which families can enjoy dinner and a stress-free evening together. Other communities, including Needham, have conducted “nights off” to great success and positive feedback from the community. The CIT asks support form town committees, schools, leagues and families by pledging to take the night off. Local restaurants are also offering special deals including:
Lobster Claw: One free side for every $20 spent (cup of chowder, small chicken finger, small fry or sweet potato fry, small onion ring, or shrimp cocktail
China Cuisine: Free appetizer up to $7 with a $25 purchase
