Fire Department Contains Fire to Shed

North Reading, MA - The cause of an early Saturday morning shed fire on Flint Street is still under investigation.

At about 4:45 a.m. on Saturday, January 2nd, North Reading Fire received a 911 call from a passerby reporting a shed fire in the area of Flint St.

Engine 2 arrived on scene to find a large shed fully involved behind 15 Flint St with extension to the rear of the residence. Abox alarm was sounded bringing Car 2, Engine 4 and Ladder 1 to the scene. The fire was quickly knocked down without further damage to the house and the cause is under investigation.
