Fit Revolution Beat's the Holiday Bulge & Donates to the NR Food Pantry

Fit Revolution's latest challenge was to have members maintain, not gain, weight over the holidays by participating in the Beat the Holiday Bulge contest. On average, Americans gain 5-7 pounds between Thanksgiving and New Years.

60 Fit Revolution members made 30 teams of 2 people and agreed to take 50 classes from November 10 - January 4. These teams  also committed to a certain number of days a week to eat sugar free, in order to maintain their weight or even lose weight over the holiday period.

Half of the proceeds of this contest was presented by Fit Revolution's owner, Michelle O'Connor to Penny Esposito of the NR Food Pantry, to assist in helping local families during the holiday season.
