Halloween Party And Giving Back Opportunity

Fall has been eventful for the North Reading Moms and Tots group. We arranged our 3rd annual children’s Halloween party at Flint Memorial Library! The children looked adorable in their Halloween costumes and enjoyed Halloween themed snacks, crafts and fun activities. The party ended on a high note with a visit from Elmo. Thank you to the Cushing-Candelario and Messinese families for hosting the event and bringing smiles to faces of our tots.  

We are blessed to have a strong, supportive community within our group and as Moms we would like to instill the same good values in our kids. Volunteering together with other families is sure to teach our kids about compassion while spending quality time together. As part of a giving back opportunity (GBO), Stacy D joined with other fabulous moms and kids in the group to make sun catchers to be delivered to seniors in North Reading. We sincerely thank the Senior Center for coordinating delivery of them and helping us to bring a smile to local seniors. We hope to continue with other giving back opportunities courtesy of our lovely caring kids.

Moms & Tots also continued our collaboration with Flint Memorial Library by donating baked goods to the Fall Book Sale and helping to create the Holiday Raffle Basket. We also look forward to a joint Cookie Walk event on Dec 1st as part of the North Reading Tree Lighting ceremonies. Moms & Tots will be sponsoring a “Letters to Santa” craft at this event.

We look forward to enjoying a wonderful Holiday season ahead with our kids and also to contribute the best way we can to our town.
