Participants will tour a mock teenager’s bedroom highlighting factors that may indicate substance use, hidden in plain sight. Drug-Free Communities Grant Director Amy Luckiewicz explained, “We’ll show you all the newest products on the market to hide drugs, what red flags of addiction could look like, and provide resources. This event is appropriate for all families and for adults who have a concern that a loved-one may be struggling. This is all about prevention.”

The program begins on the half hour. Drop-in attendees are welcome, but pre-registration is suggested. Register at www.northreadingma.gov/CIT and click on “events.” Although this is an adult-only program, supervised young children may accompany an adult. Free parking is available at NRPD and nearby town parking at the O’Leary Senior Center and Flint Memorial Library. Resources on substance use prevention and treatment will be available.
