Hornets Snag Spot in Boys Lacrosse Postseason
The MIAA announced its playoff pairings on Friday and North Reading High School snagged the No. 7 seed.

A strong North Reading High School boys lacrosse season will continue for a minimum of one more game.
That's because the Hornets learned on Friday that their regular season campaign was good enough for the No. 7 seed in the East Division 3 playoffs.
The Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association held its postseason meeting on Friday and assigned match ups to the field of 33 teams.

North Reading earned a preliminary round bye thanks to a regular season record of 14-6. The Hornets drew No. 26 Sacred Heart and will host the contest that is scheduled for Tuesday at 5 p.m.
With a victory in the first round, North Reading would advance to take on either Bishop Fenwick or Hanover in a second round tilt. The date and time of that game have not yet been posted.
