The Hornets came out buzzing in their last regular season game on Tuesday afternoon at Triton Regional. Dan Coveney deflected a blast from Jake Intorcio to start the scoring and North Reading carried a 1-0 lead into halftime. Billy Brandano and the defense allowed nothing and Tim Russell added an insurance goal in the second to give North Reading the 2-0 win, a 12-5-1 record, and a second place finish in the Cape Ann League Division 1.
