Household Hazardous Waste Collection on Saturday

The North Reading Department of Public Works and Recycling Committee are hosting the annual Household Hazardous Waste Collection from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, Sept. 13 at the DPW Garage, 166 Chestnut St.

There is no charge, but residents will need to show proof of residency.

Also, the Compost Center will be open for residents. Leaf, grass clippings and other yard waste are accepted. The DPW is also accepting brush on Saturday because of last weekend’s storm. There is no charge.
