Imbriano and Pappavaselio Win Seats On School Committee
Less than 5 percent of town's voters turned out to cast their ballots.

NORTH READING, Ma. - Incumbent Janene C. Imbriano will be joined by Chris Pappavaselio on the North Reading School Committee after residents cast their votes in Tuesday's annual town election. Imbriano won with 391 votes, with Pappavaselio getting 284. With two seats open, Tracy A. DeGregorio was third with 205 votes.
Just 4.57 percent of North Reading's registered voters cast their ballots or 502 out of a total of 10,962.
Most of the races were settled before voters entered St. Theresa's Church. The other four races were uncontested. Liane Gonzalez and Richard Wallner earned the two Select Board seats with Gonzalez getting 368 votes and Wallner 397.

John Murphy was re-elected as Town Moderator with 412 votes. Incumbent Warren Pearce (398) and David Rudloff (347) will take their place on the Community Planning Commission. Incumbent James DeCola (421) will return to the Housing Authority.
