North Reading resident Jenna Whitney appointed Volunteer Coordinator for the Epilepsy Foundation New England


North Reading resident Jenna Whitney was appointed Volunteer Coordinator for the Epilepsy Foundation New England.
Whitney, who recently relocated back from Austin, TX, will be responsible for developing the framework for volunteers, which will include policies, job descriptions, recruitment strategies, information management and more.
The Epilepsy Foundation New England is a non-profit organization that relies heavily on donations and support of volunteers, who are critical to the success of fundraising walks, dinners, office support, helpline support, job coaching, support groups, regional council events and more.

"We are very excited to have Jenna on board," said Susan Linn, President of the Epilepsy Foundation New England. "She has a breadth of experience with volunteers and with development that put her over the top of the many candidates who interviewed for the position. We're looking forward to having her on the team."
The Epilepsy Foundation New England's mission is to lead the fight to overcome the challenges of living with epilepsy and to accelerate therapies to stop seizures, find cures, and save lives. Epilepsy Foundation New England is an independent nonprofit organization serving MA, RI, ME, and NH. For more than three decades, Epilepsy Foundation New England has made a difference for people with epilepsy and their families by helping them make decisions and take actions regarding their health care, daily activities, employment, and community participation. The Foundation engages the community in epilepsy awareness and educational programs, developing support networks, and advocacy to influence public policy.
