John Spencer Passes Away

John T. Spencer, a resident of North Reading for 6 years, passed away on April 16. He was 65 years of age.

John was born in Malden, Massachusetts on September 1, 1951 the son of James W. and Stama (Topoulos) Spencer. John was a self-employed entrepreneur and started up several small businesses in the local area. He loved to watch football and car racing. He was the beloved husband of Donna (Cerasuolo) Spencer. Devoted father of Kelly Fitzgerald and her husband Michael of Reading and Michael Spencer and his wife Donna L. of N. Reading. Cherished brother of Paul D. Spencer of Tewksbury, James C. Spencer of Peabody and the late Robert J. Spencer. Loving grandfather of Dylan, Ryan, Danny and Riley.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, April 21 at St. Athanasius Church 300 Haverhill St., Reading at 10:30 am. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery in North Reading. A visitation will be held prior to the Mass at the Douglass, Edgerley and Bessom Funeral Home 25 Sanborn St. (corner of Woburn St.) Reading from 9-10 am.
