Local Breast Cancer Foundation Wins $100K Grant from Cummings Foundation!

FREE, confidential and caring Stage IV Breast Cancer Support Group in Wilmington MA. Serving patients, families and children.

The Hope and Friendship Metastatic Breast Cancer Foundation, a 501 (c) (3) non-profit founded by North Reading resident, Heather LoRe, has won a $100K grant from the Cummings Foundation in the form of a 10 year lease in Wilmington MA. The new breast center will be host to support group meetings, retreats, educational events, opportunities for networking, therapeutic activities and more. Hope and Friendship offers services to patients with the terminal form of breast cancer, also known as Stage IV or Metastatic breast cancer, and to their caregivers, family members and children. With the new center, additional opportunities and expansion are possible.
