National Grid to Trim, Remove Trees in the North Reading Right-of-Way
The utility will be trimming and removing trees from the the right-of-way in North Reading in the coming days.

Residents may notice tree crews in town soon as National Grid trims tree branches and removes trees from portions of the electrical right-of-way in North Reading.
According to a statement, tree removal and trimming will take place in the electrical easement that runs southeast from Haverhill Street near the Reading town line. The efforts are part of the utility’s Transmission Vegetation Maintenance Program.
The work is expected to begin soon and take place through March 31, 2016.
