North Reading Based Team Snags New England Crown
According to the Salem News, the North Reading based AAU Boston Junior Rams 15U recently took home a championship win.

A baseball team based out of North Reading is second to none in New England after recently taking home an AAU championship win.
The AAU Boston Junior Rams 15U team snagged a 6-3 victory over the Worcester Warriors earlier this month in the New England championship tilt in Haverhill, according to a story in the Salem News.
Thanks to the win, the team completed its championship season with a 15-2 record. According to the newspaper, the Rams opened the playoffs with an 11-1 win over Show Baseball, then thumped the Warriors 12-2.
Worcester bounced back to defeat the Rams, but the locals toppled the Warriors in the winner-take-all title game, according to the Salem News.
"It’s very gratifying to see this group of kids win because they all work very hard to succeed," manager Jeff Mejia, a North Reading resident, told the newspaper.
