North Reading Couple Are Finalists To Win $100,000 Dream Wedding
Amanda Germany and Mike Murphy need your support (and vote) to win an all-expenses paid wedding in Maine.

A story by Amanda Germany and Mike Murphy, with a little help from their friends at Patch:
A North Reading couple are finalists to win an all-expense paid dream wedding in Maine. All they need is your support.
Amanda Germany and Mike Murphy are one of three finalists to win an all-expense paid wedding of their dreams. As the chaos of planning can be overwhelming, it was an easy decision for them to enter. Each couple was required to make a two-minute video on why they would like to be married in Maine. Amanda and Mike's video talks about them meeting 10 years ago, and the struggles life has brought, for them to endure, to get to this point. At the age of 20, Amanda was diagnosed with cancer and treated for it, and shortly after lost her mother to the disease. When Amanda and Mike started dating, his grandmother was ill, and it was a strong point for them to be able to support each other and help each other get through that and grow.

The pair spend a lot of time in Maine, and thought it would be a great sentiment to have the memory of being married there. Fifteen couples entered round one, and now in round two, it has been narrowed down to the three finalists. After the winning couple is announced by Maine Weddings Magazine, the contest goes a step further, by allowing anyone following the page to vote on certain aspects of the wedding such as the cake, wedding bands, bridesmaids dresses, and even the wedding gown!
Voting is once daily per email from now until March 23rd at 11:59 p.m. for the final round. To vote simply click on the video, and after it plays a prompt will pop up to vote. You can check it out (and support these two from North Reading) here.
