North Reading Farmer's Market Opens Wednesday

Weekly market will run 10 weeks, all to benefit the Ipswich River Park.

Summer means the return of the North Reading Farmer's Market.

The weekly market opens Wednesday and runs for 10 weeks every Wednesdays from 3:30 - 7 p.m. at the Ipswich River Park. Get fresh local produce and other artisan goods at the 4th season of the North Reading Farmers Market. Entertainment this week includes The Lakeside Boys, a special performance by The Dancing School, songs by Lena Syed, and Balloon Art by Yarrow.

The North Reading Garden Club will have a booth with plants for sale and horticultural advice.There will be free hot dogs for all as a special Kick off celebration.

The Farmers Market is run by North Reading's Land Utilization Committee for the benefit of Ipswich River Park and other open space projects in North Reading. Proceeds from the market will be directly put towards maintenance and improvement of the park. Recent improvements include a pavilion and rest rooms. One of the goals for the future is a community center.

North Reading Farmer's Market is now a participant of The Farmers Market Coupon Program with Arrowhead Farm and Farmer Dave’s. Farmers Market coupons are made available to WIC participants as well as eligible seniors.
