North Reading Gas Station Robbery Suspect Sought

A warrant has been issued for the arrest of a local man.

NORTH READING, MA — A man who allegedly robbed a local gas station has had a warrant issued for his arrest. Michael Tallini, 32, is wanted for unarmed robbery related to Sunday night's robbery of the Speedway gas station on Main Street.

Police received the report of a robbery just before 9 p.m. The suspect, allegedly Tallini, fled the store and headed north on Main Street with an undetermined amount of cash. Video surveillance led police to believe Tallini was the robber.

Police say the suspect was a thin male with a tan complexion and black beard, standing 5 feet 9 inches. He's got a raspy voice, police said.

Tallini was allegedly last seen wearing a dark green hooded jacket with a stripe, blue jeans, sneakers and a baseball hat.
