North Reading Grand Jury Indictments

District Attorney Marian Ryan announced on Tuesday indictments that were handed down between Dec. 13 and Jan. 27. One case with North Reading ties was announced.

John Almeida, 30, of North Reading, was charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon on a person over the age of 60 (3 counts), assault with a dangerous weapon (4 counts), assault and battery on a person over the age of 60 (2 counts), and threatening to commit a crime. The Assistant District Attorney is Julie Kunkel.
