North Reading High Soccer Teams Head Into Playoffs

Both varsity teams qualified for the MIAA tournament this year.

Both North Reading High soccer teams have qualified for the MIAA Division 3 North tournament. 

The boys’ soccer team, which went 12-5-1, has the third seed on the boys’ side. The boys’ soccer team’s playoffs begin at 6 p.m. Monday, Nov. 4 at North Reading. They will play the winner of the Marblehead and O’Bryant game that takes place on Saturday.

The top two seeded teams in the boys’ tournament are Wilmington and Watertown.

The girls’ soccer team, which went 8-6-6, has the 10th seed. They will play Bishop Fenwick at 3 p.m. Friday at Bishop Fenwick. The winner of that game will play rival Lynnfield, which is the number two seed in the tournament, next week.

Newburyport, which went 16-0-2, is the number one seed in the girls’ tournament.
