UPDATED: North Reading Man Killed in Vermont Motorcycle Crash Identified
Crash remains under investigation by Vermont State Police.

A North Reading man was killed in a motorcycle crash in the town of Buels Gore, Vermont on Saturday afternoon.
The operator of the fatal motorcycle crash was identified as James N. Acone, age 60 of North Reading.
The crash remains under investigation as of Monday, according to Vermont State Police.

At about 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, Vermont State Police received a report of a motorcycle crash on Vermont Rte. 17 in the town of Buels Gore. The motorcycle operator was thrown from his motorcycle and struck a guardrail.
Acone was transported to Central Vermont Hospital by Mad River Valley Ambulance Service and was subsequently transported to Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center by Dartmouth Hitchcock Advanced Response Team. He was pronounced dead at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center later in the evening.
