North Reading Police Host Coffee With a Cop on Wednesday
Residents invited to discuss community issues on Oct. 7.

The North Reading Police are providing the chance for residents to get to know them better and discuss community issues.
All community members are invited to attend Coffee with a Cop on Wednesday, Oct. 7 at 9 a.m. at Heavenly Donuts on 68 Winter St.
Coffee with a Cop offers the opportunity for residents to ask questions and learn more about the department’s work in the neighborhoods.

“We hope that community members will feel comfortable to ask questions, bring concerns, or simply get to know our officers,” said North Reading Police Chief Michael Murphy. “These interactions are the foundation of community partnerships.”
Coffee with a Cop is a national initiative supported by The United States Department of Justice, Office of Community Oriented Policing Services. Similar events are being held across the county, as local police departments strive to make lasting connections with the communities they serve.
