North Reading Seniors Invited To Annual Thanksgiving Dinner
Nov. 19 event hosted by Rep. Brad Jones and his wife Linda, along with Senator Bruce Tarr.

North Reading seniors are invited to attend the annual Thanksgiving Dinner at the Hillview Country Club in North Reading on Sunday, Nov. 19. Doors will open at 12:45 p.m. and dinner will be served at 1:30 p.m.
Hosted by Representative and Mrs. Bradley H. Jones, Jr. and Senator Bruce Tarr, the dinner will feature musical entertainment provided by Sergeant Dan Clark, the famous “singing trooper.”
The North Reading Thanksgiving Dinner has been an annual tradition since it was started by the town’s former Director of Elder Services, the late Edith O’Leary, over 30 years ago. Every year, hundreds of local residents gather to enjoy a traditional turkey dinner with all the fixings.
“My wife, Senator Tarr and I are pleased to be able to carry on this very special holiday tradition for North
Reading’s seniors,” said Representative Jones. “We are especially grateful to the many local businesses and
individuals who have partnered with us to help make this event such a great success.”
