North Reading Voters Focus On School Committee Race

Tuesday's election has three candidates chasing two seats on School Committee.

NORTH READING, Ma. - With just hours to go before North Reading residents head to the polls, you probably already know how you're going to vote. Or do you?

Even if you've already decided it can't hurt to take a look at the ballot, which has races for five town positions.

If you're looking for a real live race, you'll find in the School Committee candidates. Three candidates are running for two seats, each with a three-year term. Incumbent and current chair Janene Imbriano is facing challengers Tracy DeGregorio and Chris Pappavaselio. The other four races are uncontested. Liane Gonzalez and Richard Wallner are running for the two Select Board seats opened with the departure of Michael Prisco and Robert Mauceri. John Murphy is running for re-election as Town Moderator. Incumbent Warren Pearce and David Rudloff are running for two seats on the Community Planning Commission. Incumbent James Decola is running for the one open seat on the Housing Authority.
