Obituary: Alexander Bucchio III, 48, of North Reading

Alexander Bucchio III, 48, of North Reading, formerly of Stoneham, died unexpectedly Jan. 27, 2015.

Born in Melrose, he was the son of Marie (Matanza) Bucchio of Revere and the late Alexander Bucchio, Jr.

Alex was raised and educated in Stoneham and lived here most of his life. For many years, he worked at Angelo’s Pizzeria & Ristorante in Stoneham. Alex was a body builder and was often seen working out at the gym in Woburn. He was a car enthusiast and enjoyed customizing his car.

He is survived by his siblings, Eleanor Moccia and Alexandra Maguire of North Reading, Kurt A. Bucchio and his wife Rosa of Pelham, NH, and Mark John Bucchio of Lowell. He also will be missed by many nieces and nephews.

A memorial gathering will be held Friday, Feb. 6 , 4-6 p.m., followed by a prayer service at Anderson-Bryant Funeral Home, 4 Common St., Stoneham.
