Obituary: Ethan Henry Lamphier, 8, Son of Former North Reading Resident

Ethan Henry Lamphier, age 8, of Sandown, NH, died unexpectedly on Monday, Dec. 1, 2014, at Boston Children’s Hospital.

Born in Methuen on November 20, 2006, he was the loving son of William R. Lamphier of Sandown, NH, and Regan Burke of Sandown, NH, and formerly of North Reading.

Ethan was in second grade at Atkinson Academy in New Hampshire. Ethan brought joy and happiness to everyone around him. He had a beautiful smile and mischievous personality. He loved to be around family and friends.

Ethan loved music and toys. He especially liked The Wiggles. He enjoyed being outside, going for car rides and playing in the water. His favorite color was green.

Besides his parents, other family members include his loving brother, Thomas Burke of Somerville; his grandparents, Donna Buccheri of Haverhill and the late Don Buccheri, Hank and Gayle Burke of North Reading, and Bob and Beth Lamphier of Nashua, NH. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.

His funeral will be held at the Croswell Funeral Home, 19 Bow St., North Reading, on Friday, Dec. 5 at 10:30 a.m. Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery in North Reading.
