Online Store Winnie + Camille Has North Reading Roots

The online business run by North Reading residents sells customized note cards and engravable items.

A North Reading couple fused their hobbies and passions together to launch Winnie + Camille, an online business that sells customized note cards and engravable items.

The combination of De Keimach’s photography and her husband Brad Keimach’s skills as a professional engraver led the two to create the business last year.

De and Brad Keimach thought it would be fitting to name the store after their cats, Winnie and Camille. “They are in charge here, so naming the business after them seemed like a good idea,” De Keimach said.

Winnie + Camille sells personalized items for all occasions and seasons including keychains, compasses, watches, wedding albums, picture frames, bookmarks, ornaments and more.

“If someone wanted an engraved item but did not see it on the site, we would try to find it for them,” De Keimach said.

Engravings can commemorate a location, a specific date, a name, a person or a verse. “We have lots of items that can be engraved in a way some people never think of,” De Keimach said. “A favorite is to engrave the longitude and latitude of a special place on an item.”

The note cards feature De Keimach’s photography of New England landscapes, flowers, occasions and seasons. They can be sent as gifts or framed as decorations.

Items can be shipped anywhere in the continental U.S.

An online business allows Winnie + Camille to rotate inventory easily without having the overhead of a business location, De Keimach said. The business hopes to broaden its reach to introduce new items in the future.

De Keimach is a big advocate for shopping locally and hopes to gain customers from the North Reading community.

“We love what we do and making some money would be a bonus,” she said.
