Peter Muse Passes Away
Born in Winchester, Muse lived in North Reading and was a member of Reading American Legion Post.

Peter E. Muse of North Reading passed away on Thursday, April 19 at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers. He was 72 years of age.
Born on February 28, 1946 in Winchester, Peter is the loving son of the late George Muse and Marion (Enos) Muse. Peter was a warm and caring son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend. He will be deeply missed.
Peter retired from Gillette after 20 years and started his own bobcat service business, and plowed for the town of Reading. He enjoyed playing golf and attending antique car shows with his friends. He was a proud member of the Reading American Legion Post 62 in Reading. During the Vietnam War era, Peter proudly defended our freedom by serving in the United States Navy as a Seabee.

Peter is the beloved husband of Marian (Serrecchia) Muse. He is the devoted father of Matthew Muse, Ashley Muse and her fiancé Kevin Flynn, Peter Muse and his wife Carla, Wendy Muse, Jared Muse and his wife Amy. The cherished grandfather of Chelsie, Tyler and Kayla Muse. Peter is the dear brother of Robert Muse and his wife Susan, Kathy Muse, and the late George Muse and his surviving wife June. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are cordially invited to attend a Funeral Service Celebrating Peter's Life on Thursday, April 26 at 10 am at the Union Congregational Church, 148 Haverhill St., North Reading.
