Police Log: Two Drivers Summonsed to Court

Tuesday, Dec. 17

At 7:41 a.m., police responded to Chestnut and Haverhill streets concerning a minor motor vehicle accident. The driver, a Methuen man, was summonsed to court for operating a motor vehicle after his license had expired.

At 11:43 a.m., police receive a report of a suspicious man in a blue van by a house on Flint Street. Police contacted the van owner, who worked for an oil company. There was no problem.

Thursday, Dec. 19

At 10:07 a.m., a man reported that money was stolen from a local business. Police took a report.

At 12:49 p.m., an officer issued a parking citation to a Reading driver after she left her car parked in a fire lane.

At 4:05 p.m., police responded to MacIntyre Drive and Swan Pond Road about youths throwing snowballs at cars. An officer sent them on their way.

At 10:34 p.m., police summonsed a Woburn man for operating a motor vehicle without insurance and a marked lanes violation. Police pulled over the man on Park Street.
