Police Warn of Tough Afternoon Commute

North Reading Police warned residents that road work on Haverhill Street, near the Reading line, will impact the afternoon commute.

Police urge residents to find alternate routes and avoid the area if possible.

According to North Reading Police, "This initial work involves heat scarifying and planning of the existing asphalt base. The streets are overlaid with 1 ½” of hot mix asphalt a few weeks later."
