Red-Hot Hornets Head Into Thanksgiving Day Game

The North Reading Hornets will take a four-game winning streak into their clash with Thanksgiving Day rivals, Lynnfield High School, at home on Thursday.

The game kicks off at 10 a.m. as the bitter foes square off in their annual Turkey Day clash.

North Reading goes into the game 6-4. The Hornets’ season has been one of streaks. They won the first two games, lost the next four and then won the final four games. 

The offense has really picked up during the four-game winning streak, averaging 40 points per game.

The Hornets beat Weston 48-17 in their last game.

Lynnfield comes into the game at 9-2. The Pioneers got all the way to the MIAA North Division 4 semi-final before losing to Bedford 14-7.
