Registration Now Underway for 18th Annual Step Out for Hospice
The organization benefits Wakefield and other area communities.

Registrations are now being accepted for the 18th annual Step Out for Hospice walk/run on Sunday, Sept. 27, beginning at the Irish American Club of Woburn on 147 Main St.
The event benefits VNA Hospice Care, a nonprofit organization that provides care and compassion to individuals and families facing the challenges of life-limiting illness and loss. VNA Hospice Care is based in Woburn and serves area communities including Wakefield.
Step Out for Hospice features a free 1-Mile Fun Run at 11:30 a.m. for children ages 13 and under. Prizes and a limited number of T-shirts will be available for Fun Run participants.
The 3-Mile Walk starts at noon, and 5-mile Road Race at 12:30 pm. Participants are invited to enjoy the post-walk/run festivities, including live music and dancing, chowder, hotdogs, popcorn, beer, and raffle.
Preregister now for the Walk or Road Race for a discounted fee of $30. Step Out for Hospice sweatshirts are guaranteed for Walk and Road Race entries received bySept. 23. The Fun Run is free; preregistration is appreciated.
