Ring and Ride Now Available In North Reading

"Ring and Ride" transportation provided by the Merrimack Valley Regional Transit Authority is available in North Reading now.

This service offers transportation to medical appointments for North Reading residents age 60 and older, and disabled veterans of any age. Transportation is available to medical appointments in the following communities: North Reading, Andover, North Andover, Middleton, Lynnfield, Wilmington, Reading, Woburn, Stoneham, Danvers, Peabody, Wakefield, Burlington, Winchester, Melrose, Boston, Bedford, and Jamaica Plain. Transportation within North Reading is free, and there is a tiered fee for service in the other communities listed above.

If you are age 60 or older and have a medical appointment in one of these communities, please contact MVRTA at 978-469-6878. If you are a disabled veteran under the age of 60 and have a medical appointment in one of these communities, please contact the North Reading Veterans Services office at 978-357-5212 to register prior to calling MVRTA at 978-469-6878 option #3.
