Rita Murray Passes Away

Rita M. (Russell) Murray, 66, of North Reading and formerly of Medford, died Sunday, Sept. 24 at Winchester Hospital, after a lengthy illness. She was the beloved wife of the late Richard Murray.

Born in Cambridge, MA on August 31, 1951, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Rita (Good) Russell. Rita was a graduate of Medford High School, Class of 1969. She was a homemaker and a resident of North Reading for the past 25 years.

She is survived by her loving sister, Noreen Russell of North Reading.

Calling hours will be held at the Croswell Funeral Home, 19 Bow Street, North Reading on Thursday, Sept. 28 from 11 a.m. to noon, followed by a prayer service with Deacon Al Balestracci from St. Theresa's Church.
