Save the Date: National Night Out is August 7th

The Community Impact Team will host its 5th annual event free for the community.

The North Reading Community Impact Team (CIT) will be sponsoring its fifth annual National Night Out (NNO) on Tuesday, August 7th at Ipswich River Park. National Night Out is an event focused on strengthening North Reading by encouraging neighborhoods to engage in stronger relationships with each other and with their local law enforcement partners. The goal is to heighten crime‐prevention awareness, build support and participation in local anti‐crime programs, and promote safety issues. Last year, over 600 people attended NNO.

The CIT is seeking professionals and groups to host tables on safety, human service, and law enforcement topics. Table space for vendors is available free of charge. Approved vendors should be providing information to families and attendees on matters related to the event. In addition, community performers are welcome to apply for six 10-minute presentation slots. These may include performing arts, groups and individuals of all ages. Sponsorship opportunities are also available.

For more information on how to be a vendor, presenter or sponsor at this year’s National Night Out, contact Amy Luckiewicz at 978.357.5054 or email coalition@northreadingma.gov. The Rain Date for this event is Tuesday, August 14, 2018.
