SEX OFFENDER LIST: Where Do North Reading's Highest Level Sex Offenders Live and Work?

North Reading has two Level 3 sex offender who live or work in the city, according to the state Sex Offender Registry Board website.

Massachusetts has three classification levels for sex offenders, Level 3 being for the most severe offenders.

Level 2 and 3 sex offenders pose a moderate or high risk of reoffense, respectively, according to the state.

For both levels, “the degree of dangerousness posed to the public is such that a public safety interest is served by public availability of registration information,” according to the state.

One count of assault with the intent to commit rape (Aug. 1, 1980 conviction), one count of indecent assault and battery on a person aged 14 or older (Dec. 23, 1997 conviction), one count of open and gross lewdness and lascivious behavior (Dec. 23, 1997 conviction) and two counts of rape (Aug. 1, 1980).

John Eric McLoud, 56, 13 Audubon Road, home. One count of indecent assault and battery on a person aged 14 or older, two counts of aggravated rape and two counts of kidnapping of a child under the age of 16 (Nov. 19, 1992 conviction on all counts).
