Simple Technique that Increases Referrals

Many consultants such as financial advisors, IT experts, attorneys, etc. rely heavily on referrals to grow their practices. So why aren’t you receiving more referrals? 

Perhaps it’s fear.

Many of your clients may be resistant to referring you business for fear that you’ll talk about them to the very person they just referred you to. To increase referrals, try calming your clients’ fears by openly addressing them.

For example, a financial advisor’s email signature could include, “My practice is exclusively referral based. Please know that I’ll never discuss your personal or financial situation with anyone, including the friends, family and associates you refer to me.”
