Spring Mentors Now Enrolling
This FREE program is for grades 3-8. High School Mentors needed!

North Reading Youth Services is now enrolling for its Spring Session of the free Mentoring Program. The program now serves grades 3-8. We are currently seeking high school mentors to serve as leaders to children in grades 3-8 each Wednesday for an 8-week session beginning March 30, 2016. The middle school session runs 2:30p-3:45p and the elementary (grades 3-5) session runs 3:45p-4:45p at the Middle/High School Library. During the 8-week session, mentors will assist with homework followed by a supervised group activity such as cupcake decorating, card games, or a structured project.
All high school teens interested in serving as mentors, should contact Youth Services to schedule a meeting. Teens will be asked to make the 8-week commitment, serve as role models and be able to assist with homework. Teens will also receive a community service hours certificate at the end of the session.
Parents of all North Reading students in grades 3-8 are encouraged to contact Youth Services to register their children or visit www.northreadingma.gov/youth-services and click on Programs. The program is free to all participants.
