Success with Fundraising!

Last weekend, my son and I sat outside Walmart in North Reading to hold our "Pink Table Bake Sale" for breast cancer fundraising.  The weather was a bit cool, but the table sale was terrific.  We met some great people and earned a sizable amount of money for the American Cancer Society.  For the two day sale, we raised $2,382.20...awesome!!  We could not have done it without the support of the community of bakeries/businesses who donated dozens of items for our table.  We had a variety of everything from popcorn to gluten free products along with the traditional chocolate chip cookies!  Personal friends baked and stopped by to purchase goodies.  It was a wonderful weekend.  We met many people who shared their personal stories, people who thanked us for raising money, and people who wanted to show their support with monetary donations.  We could not have done it without the assistance of so many...including the Walmart manager who allowed us to set up outside the store.  Thank you to all!!

I would be remiss if I did not extend a public thank you to the community of bakeries and businesses.  Please show them your support and tell them how you appreciate their community involvement.  Every owner or manager was pleased to support our fundraising cause...I am grateful to them.
